| Apprentice Thai Massage | Performed fully clothed on a mat on the floor, Thai massage involves gentle stretching and pressure along energy lines to clear stagnation, improve range of motion, relieve pain and liberate energy. All stretching is within comfortable limits - clients do not have to be "flexible". Apprentice sessions are performed by students with at least 100 hours of training, under the supervision of Thai Bodywork faculty. You must pay for your session in advance (non-refundable) and submit an intake form by fax or email at least 24 hours before the session time. $50 for a 90 minute session. |

| Thai Herbal Compress | An herbal compress treatment combines traditional Thai massage with Luk Pra Kob, a warm herbal compress with wonderful anti-inflammatory benefits. The Thai herbs, including varieties of ginger, lemongrass, camphor, kaffir lime and other elements, are steamed in a cotton bag and applied to the body during a Thai massage. | Clinical Thai Bodywork | Clinical Thai Bodywork targets specific issues of pain and dysfunction. CTB uses principles of Trigger Point therapy, Thai bodywork and traditional Chinese medicine to analyze and treat pain. Often quite effective with difficult or intractable pain conditions. The therapist may use herbal compress or other additional modalities during the treatment. Starts at $100 for a 60 minute session. | |||

Jennifer is a Certified Clinical Thai Bodywork Practitioner (CTBP) and yoga instructor with a background in dance and movement. She is on the faculty of Thai Bodywork, Evanston. She practices Ashtanga yoga and has studied Ashtanga under Lino Miele, Manju Jois and Kino MacGregor. Jennifer's practice focuses on pain relief and personal growth through bodywork and yoga, and integrates Clinical Thai Bodywork, Thai Herbal Compress, therapeutic Thai flying and yoga. Chuck Duff is Chief Instructor and Founder of Thai Bodywork School of Thai Massage. He developed and taught the first class in Clinical Thai Bodywork in 2005. Chuck is a past faculty member of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and National University of Health Science, and is a well-known and respected Thai massage teacher and therapist.
