Thai massage is a wonderful, relaxing, revitalizing treatment that can soothe aches and pains, restore lost flexibility and bring the body back to a state of balance. All of our professional therapists have extensive training and have attained Certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner (TBP) level. Gift certificates can be easily purchased online and mailed/emailed.

Jennifer is a Certified Clinical Thai Bodywork Practitioner (CTBP) and a certified yoga instructor with a background in dance and movement. She is on the faculty of Thai Bodywork, Evanston. She practices Ashtanga yoga and has studied Ashtanga under Lino Miele, Manju Jois and Kino MacGregor. Jennifer's practice focuses on pain relief and personal growth through bodywork and yoga, and integrates Clinical Thai Bodywork, Thai Herbal Compress and yoga. Edita is a Certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner (TBP) with a strong interest in yoga and Acro Yoga. Her practice integrates traditional Thai massage, therapeutic Thai flying and Thai Herbal Compress. She has trained in the United States and in Thailand. Edita is available for Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Herbal Compress sessions. $80 per hour -- special rate of $60 per hour each Wednesday. | |||

Justin is a Certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner (TBP) and a certified Bikram yoga teacher. Justin has been studying Thai Bodywork since 2007. He initially experienced Thai bodywork in 2006 when he was doing Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles ." I liked it better than any Western massage I'd ever gotten, and I liked how it related to yoga. From then on my Sunday Thai massage session was the high point of my week, and I'm convinced I wouldn't have made it through my yoga training without it." Having had many injuries and chronic pain issues treated with Thai Massage, Justin believes that Thai bodywork is a tremendous vehicle for healing. He has completed his TBP certification and is currently deepening his study in the Thai Bodywork School of Thai Massage's revolutionary Clinical Thai Bodywork program. Chuck Duff is Chief Instructor and Founder of Thai Bodywork School of Thai Massage. He developed and taught the first class in Clinical Thai Bodywork in 2005. Chuck is a past faculty member of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and National University of Health Science, and is a well-known and respected Thai massage teacher and therapist. Chuck is available on a limited basis for Advanced Clinical Thai Bodywork and private training sessions. $120 per hour. | |||
| Apprentice sessions are performed by students with at least 100 hours of training, under the supervision of Thai Bodywork faculty. You must pay for your session in advance (non-refundable) and submit an intake form by fax or email at least 24 hours before the session time. $50 for a 90 minute session. $10 upgrade for Herbal Compress is available, please specify at the time of booking. | ||||
| Traditional Thai Massage Performed fully clothed on a mat on the floor, Thai massage involves gentle stretching and pressure along energy lines to clear stagnation, improve range of motion, relieve pain and liberate energy. All stretching is within comfortable limits - clients do not have to be "flexible". Starts at $80 for a 60 minute session, 90 minutes recommended. We are offering a Tuesday Thai Massage Special for a limited time -- only $60 per hour on Tuesdays. |

| Thai Herbal Compress (Luk Pra Kob) An herbal compress treatment combines traditional Thai massage with Luk Pra Kob, a warm herbal compress with wonderful anti-inflammatory benefits. The Thai herbs, including varieties of ginger, lemongrass, camphor, kaffir lime and other elements, are steamed in a cotton bag and applied to the body during a Thai massage. | Clinical Thai Bodywork Clinical Thai Bodywork targets specific issues of pain and dysfunction. CTB uses principles of Trigger Point therapy, Thai bodywork and traditional Chinese medicine to analyze and treat pain. Often quite effective with difficult or intractable pain conditions. The therapist may use herbal compress or other additional modalities during the treatment. Starts at $100 for a 60 minute session. |
